Into Craft – A Place for the Craft Community
We are passionate about craft and about sharing ideas. As we travel around Australia and New Zealand presenting craft events we often see great ideas that we’d like to share with you. Into Craft is about sharing those ideas and inspiration with you all year round – not just when there’s a craft event in town. Feel free to send in your ideas, event listings, profiles and projects to share.
EDITOR
Judy Newman: I’ve been in the craft world for more years than I care to admit! Growing up in the country meant that sewing our own clothes and entertaining ourselves were part of life. This led to teaching Textiles & Design – then came my magazine years – as Craft Editor on Better Homes and Gardens, Australian Country Craft, Country Looks, then The Australian Women’s Weekly. In 1993 I was involved in organising the first Craft & Quilt Fair with Gary Fitz-Roy (who soon after became my husband) and from that time, the craft events and their promotion has been my main work focus.

Expertise Events
Expertise Events creates memorable craft events that connect people and markets in a very personal way. Among our many events are the Craft & Quilt Fair, Craft and Sewing Show in cities around Australia and New Zealand and the annual Australasian Quilt Convention in Melbourne and Scrapbook & Papercraft Expo in Brisbane.
I’m trying to find a copy of Country Patchwork and Craft that contained a pattern (largely in pinks and blues I think) for a large quilt made up of over 400 2″ half triangle squares. I would be immensely grateful for any leads.
Sincerely
Pauline Caller (UK)
Hi Pauline,
If you can recall the quilt maker’s name or the title of the quilt, the Express Media team may be able to help you here. Just let me know and I’ll let them know.
Regards, Marianne.
Please keep up the good idea. With lots of Australian content.
